Membership Services | How to Apply
If you have an API accredited degree in property or a degree in economics, finance, architecture, building, engineering, surveying, quantity surveying or the like and experience in the property industry, you may be eligible for API Membership.

When completing your application, please read the explanatory/guidance notes accompanying each application package carefully.
All membership applications are placed on the Membership Committee Agenda and must be lodged at the Institute by the first Monday of the month. The Membership Committee meets on the second Monday of the Month and makes recommendations to the Divisional Council meeting which is held on the third Tuesday of each month, after which applicants are advised in writing of the outcome of their membership application.
Student Application Procedure
Student membership is complimentary and available to those undertaking an API accredited course of undergraduate or postgraduate study

Associate Application Procedure

Forward the completed application form along with all the required documentation (as outlined in the Explanatory Notes) and application fee to API (WA Division)
Fellow Application Procedure
Only API Associate members with 10 or more years of API Associate membership are eligible to apply for Fellow membership along with other criteria as listed on the Application for Advancement to Fellow application form.

Transfer Your Membership
Members who are relocating to another State may apply to transfer their membership. Please complete the Inter Divisional Transfer form and return it to the WA Division for processing. Members wishing to transfer are required to have paid the current years subscription fee and have complied with CPD requirements.
